The reverse of the coin shows a very detailed representation of the event remembered as the Boston Tea Party: American colonists, frustrated and angry at Britain for imposing taxation, organized the protest and dumped 342 chests of tea, imported by the British East India Company, into the Boston Harbor. On the reverse, also the inscription: "BOSTON TEA PARTY" - the name of the historical event and "1773 - 2023" - the range of the 250 years passed since the occurrence of the event. The obverse of the coin shows the Coat of Arms of Barbados, along with the inscriptions: "BARBADOS" - the issuing country, "250g" - the weight of the coin, "10 DOLLARS" - the face value and "Ag999" - the fineness of the precious metal.
